Hello, my friends!
June is off to an incredible start! The debut of my new blues/funk outfit, The Sophie West Band, exceeded every expectation, with two amazing shows just a week apart. The energy, the crowds, and the support from everyone who came out made both nights truly special.
I'm incredibly honored to be sharing the stage with such talented musicians, and I'm excited for many more shows with this band—as well as new music on the horizon. If you haven't had a chance to see the band yet, we've posted a video from our debut show on YouTube so you can get a taste of what we've been building together.
In other news, I recently teamed up with fellow Denver singer-songwriter Sam McManus for an acoustic outdoor video session, and I'm excited to share those performances. We captured a few of my songs in a beautiful setting and had a blast putting them together. June is shaping up to be a busy month! Here’s where to find me out in the wild this month:
June 14, I'll be hosting the WesternWish Second Sundays Showcase. I open the showcase with a song of my own, and then moderate a songwriters round between 3 amazing Colorado songwriters!
June 16, I’m performing at an event called NoCo Sings NoCo at Salt Road Brewing in Fort Collins where I’ll be covering songs by Northern Colorado artists
June 20, my jam band West of Fennario will be playing at The Highlands Street Fair. We take the stage from 3:30-5pm.
June 26, West of Fennario plays a SECRET show! Location TBD :)
June 27, I’m playing a duo show for a private event! I’m available for more solo/duo/trio house shows if any of you are interested!!
